I've made a bunch of flags for all the different warlords in my scenario so I'm just gonna occasionally post one of them every now and then.
The reign of Johannes Lindbergh came quickly and was short lived but the damage it caused to Sweden was immense. The nation had already faced insurrections, a succession crisis over the PM, and rampant political infighting. Things went from bad to worse when the already far-right hardliners that were now in control had an internal coup, leading to Johannes Lindbergh and Leo Edlund taking control of Sweden. A man with a tenuous grasp on reality and a devote neo-nazi respectively, they would bring unheard of death and devastation to Sweden in their short reign. Soon, however, their reign would be cut short by a joint UN-NATO-EU invasion and King Gustaf XVI overthrowing their government and taking the Stockholm region. This would lead to the rest of Sweden collapsing into several states which overtime would eventually splinter off into numerous warlord states and groups. These posts are about these warlords.
In the northernmost parts of Sweden, the Anti-Leftist Military Guard of Muonio resides. They originally were military units stationed in the north during the insurrections. The forces were encircled in the northernmost parts of Sweden and was constantly being attacked with next to no support from the rest of the Armed Forces. However, they would survive and connect back with the main forces. They would come back home as heros with them finally get the break that they deserved. However, that respite would be short lived as they would soon be needed again to quell the Socialist insurrections again. When Sweden collapsed the Insurrection rose up again, so yet again, they would be forced to evacuate to the northernmost parts of Sweden to hunker down.
While they fought to reunite Sweden a general named Einar Höxter was gaining support and power. A growing base of Reactionaries and fierce Anti-Communists was formed in response to the hell that they had to endure because of the Socialist insurrections. Soon Einar had enough power to be able to overthrow the military guard and take power for himself. Eventually, after a few years, Sweden would be reunited under his control and the National Bulwark State of Sweden was formed. Under Einar Höxter's rule Sweden would become an ultra-reactionary military dictatorship. Anything modern or progressive would be deemed "Degenerate and a Gateway to Socialism" and the government would try it's hardest to stamp it out. Anything or anyone even vaguely left-wing would be called Communist and would be harshly and often violently quelled.

Completely original redesign of Ghana's flag. The pattern is inspired by Kente cloth, a Ghanaian textile, the colors have the same meaning as the existing flag, and the chevron represents progress.

Neither Russian nor Hawaiian are my native languages, and Cyrillifying Hawaiian was quite the chore! But the top should simply read, in Russian "Hawaiian ASSR" and the bottom should read the same, just in Hawaiian proper.

My Lovecraft timeline wrapped today! Have another flag I made for it:
It's a flag for a hate group called the American Workingmen's Party and is lead by George Lincoln Rockwell. The group was founded as a response to increased Jewish and Asian immigration during the presidency of Clark Ashton Smith in the late forties. Filling in the vacuum created by the extinction of the Black Legion and the Klan (outside of the south), the AWP believe Lovecraftian Fascism* is the only defense against Communism but they also love his early extreme racism and try to blame his shift in tone on Smith's time as VP. I chose brown both for OTL fascist parallels and also as a middle ground between Independence Party yellow and socialist red. The skull is meant as a warning to potential victims but also references the group's descent from a splinter of the Black Legion.
*That's what he called his beliefs in real life but it was completely different in structure and origins from European fascism.

As a consequence of my early divergence W.H. Pugmire becomes a filmmaker instead of a writer, releasing an experimental epic movie based on A Voyage to Arcturus in the late seventies. The faithful recreation of the novel's exploration of sexuality, gender and identity causes a firestorm in the Graham administration and it catches hell from censors and moral guardians but it proves to be a smash hit among the nation's sexual minorities. Pugmire uses bright green and violet as stand-ins for Lindsay's fictional ulfire and jale because of the long history of the use of green and violet by gays and lesbians (respectively) since the 19th century while the upward diagonal line represents forward progress for the community and the figure 8 represents both the solar system the book and movie take place in and also personal fluidity. Here's the description of the colors from the novel:
"Just as blue is delicate and mysterious, yellow clear and unsubtle, and red sanguine and passionate, so [Maskull] felt ulfire to be wild and painful, and jale dreamlike, feverish, and voluptuous."
