Flag of the Sol Commonwealth, Commonwealth of the United States
Following the end of United States war against the Benevolence Empire in the year 2459 ,it was finally agreed governance reform was needed as distant Planetary Commonwealths felt overwhelmed by those more populated in the core of the United States particularly the Solar System, so the 46th Amendment was passed to establish another layer of governance in the United States, with the Sol Commonwealth being the first to be established as the 9 Planetary Commonwealths of the Solar System were merged into the Sol Government. As the United States appears unmatched, some speculate what the future of the US holds. The end of the Benevolence War had seen the election of the first non-human, Terrans and Subspecies included, elected as President of the United States. Some wonder if the United States should ever become extra-galactic if yet another tier of governance would need to be added, if the eventual need of a Milky Way Commonwealth among the many of Galactic Commonwealths would be warranted in the far future.

The design of the Flag of the Sol Commonwealth obviously takes influence from the original United States flag and the typical style of the Planetary Commonwealth flags. With the symbol of the Sun at the center of the flag, 13 stripes as a reference to the Original 13 states of the Union, and then the 9 Stars representing the 9 Planetary Commonwealths of Sol, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Luna, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.

The flags of the United States of Europe and its 38 states in Ĉio Sub la Steloj. Official USE guidelines force all state flags to be sufficiently simple and in a 3:2 ratio.
  • Capital District: Star representing unity, wreath representing peace, scroll with the USE's motto "In varietate concordia".
  • Croatia: Integrates the checkerboard on its arms into a tricolor.
  • Flanders: …Actually I'm not sure. The black and yellow are taken from the current flag of Flanders, though.
  • Malta: Minor simplifications to the cross in the top left.
  • Moldova: Forgoes the current gold stripe and arms for the auroch in the arms.
  • Montenegro: Black for Montenegro's namesake mountain, blue for the sea.
  • Padania: See here for full story. Used instead of the Lega Nord's proposed flag in order to distance from the Lega Nord.
  • Portugal: Removed shield.
  • Serbia: Integrated the Serbian cross into the tricolor.
  • Spain: Removed arms.
  • All others are as OTL.

EU is not able to think of anything smarter than using flag of nazi collaborators?

White-Blue-Red Russian flag is also the flag of Nazi collaborators. So is a lot of other European flags to be honest.

The current Belarusian flag is too Soviet/Lukashenko. The White-Red-White is associated with the Government-in-Exile/Anti-Lukashenko far more than it is with Nazis.

White-Blue-Red Russian flag has a very long history behind it, before collaborators tried to use it (and on a minimal scale, since flag of the ROA was not tricolor but the St. Andrew's cross). Unlike Russian tricolor, Belarusian white-red-white flag was originally created by pro-German forces for the puppet BNR, which existed only on paper, and then for the first time was massively used by Nazi supporters during the Second World War. As for me, this is a rather serious difference.

Flag of the Mercury Commonwealth
The Mercury Commonwealth is the smallest Planetary Commonwealth of the Sol Commonwealth, being the only one under 1 billion people, and with only four states making up the Commonwealth, those being the two polar states, Schiaperelli and Prokofiev, it's Langragian cluster state, Columbo, and it's O'Neill ship-state Chen-Xing.
