No backstory, no meaning, just an excuse to pair blue and brown together.

It's done !I've heard that yellow and white are hard to distinguish on a flag, especially at sea, and that's why Netherlands changed their light orange to red.
Why not black and yellow ?
I was hoping to enter it into a competition if one arises. I think I would do very well!View attachment 554329

About a week ago, I made a flag representing human travel to space.... it wasn't that good. The layout could've been work on better, and it just ended up looking to American. I spent some time trying to rework it, but eventually decided "screw it" and started from scratch, which brings us to the current subject. Orange and white go well together, gray and white go well together, orange and gray go well together, therefore, they all get put on.
Kingdom of Tuvalu
No particular backstory for this, just a flag of Tuvalu incorporating elements of the coats of arms of Tuvalu and the Ellice Islands Colony.

That's the modern symbol for the Brussels region. I believe it's that form to avoid any connection to mediaeval and modern France. Why literal lilies instead of classic heraldic Fleur-de-lis?
Can I ask your thoughts behind the design?View attachment 554824
