This is an alternate flag of Trinidad and Tobago, in a TL where Jamaat al Muslimeen took successfully the power after a coup d'etat in the country in 1990:

Yet another series of flags from the Eastern World.

Originally a Chinese colony, the Ganasangha of Tiāntángcóng is located on the west coast of Nishitochi (OTL California, North America). Founded by the Chinese decades after Japanese exploration, it was settled in the early 1600s by a mix of different Chinese ethnicities and even some Maori. Tiāntángcóng was more traditionally autonomous due to the separation of by the Pacific Ocean. After chafing under heavy taxes in the aftermath of the Nine Years War, the colony invoked the Mandate of Heaven and revolted against China. After winning its war of independence, the new nation would form a government based upon the system of Indian Ganasanghism.

The north western colonies of Japan, the modern day Yunaiteddoken, were inspired to rebel against the Shogun and the Emperor by their neighbor to the south in 1799. The six ken, after winning their independence, banded together to form a confederation. Internal disagreements debates over the nature of the powers of the government led to a Nishitochi Era of Warring States as the diferent clans and kens fought against each other for sixteen years until the General Akaya Yuto unified the provinces in 1836. Akya, decended from both Japanese and Native Americans, served as Shogun for the next twelve years before stepping down, leaving a legacy of a more peaceful and united Yunaiteddoken. flag (5).png

(If I made any gramatical errors, I'm sorry. I'm not particularly good with either Chinese or Japanese language).

Now, this is an alternate flag of Poland, in a TL where Monarchy is restaured under the Wettin House (I know, it's a little ASB):

YET another flag from the Eastern World universe.

The flag of the Hellenistic Republic. Located in the Balkan peninsula (Greece and its Aegean islands), the Hellenistic Republic was founded after liberating itself from a weakened Ottoman Empire in the early 1830s. With its capital in Athens, the HR was one of the few independent nations in Europe. Headed by a First Citizen (Greek: Πρώτος πολίτης), it has close ties to the Mughal Empire because of its strategic location in the Mediterranean Sea. It is a popular travel destination for many citizens of Asia, particularly those from the subcontinent of India. This is partly because of a perceived shared culture ranging from Alexander the Great's conquests and the similar nature of Greek Republicanism and Indian Ganasanghism.

No, the islamist republic of Bosnia Herzegovina, in my mind would not happen in 1990, but maybe in the 2010's, with the grow of Islamism.

Yeah, the House of Wettin is the Rodney Dangerfield of royal families; the name gets no respect, though Queen Elizabeth II is one...

So I made a post on Reddit using timmy_khagann's wonderful raccoon design that I had requested a while ago. For a fantasy empire where raccoons are seen as valid heraldic symbols, here are some flags adorning the symbol for my empire.

1: Flag of the overall empire.
2: Flag of the Federal Council of the People
    3: War Flag/Naval Ensign
    4: Flag of the Emperor
5: Flag of the Emperor's Bureau (infamous for their ruthless tactics in counter-terrorism and overseas espionage)

Black is used for the empire's solidarity and legitimacy. White is made for purity of the empire's people (especially implied in Flag 2). Blue for Flag 2 stands for the Council's fair eye of justice, where it operates in the empire's best interest. Green in Flag 4 stands for the Emperor's dynastic colors. Gray is an alternating color for black, often having its meaning interchanged with this color.

Now, while I enjoy myself a fair bit of Oriental Imperialism, that's the Indian wheel of life that's depicted here, making it look like a modern Indian colony of sorts. I suggest using Japan's coat of arms (perhaps a modified version of it), it would definitely look better.

Same with the Chinese colony, I see the use of the Bhutanese thunder dragon.

Crap, my bad. I've been using "Flag Designer" so I've been a bit limited in what I do. But sorry, I thought it looked close enough for my purposes.

Hey guys, look what I got for tonight - new flags! I'll be splitting up tonight's presentation into three posts: Communist Flags, Fascist Flags, and Miscellaneous Flags. Starting off with the Communist flags:

The first flag for tonight is a revamp of my old design for the Turkish Soviet Republic.

The second flag for tonight is another revamp of an old design, this one for the Anarcho-Syndicalist version of the French Commune.

The third flag for tonight is actually an entirely new one: a flag for the Caribbean Free Territory - who're basically Communist Pirates!
You can probably guess, this is the Communist version of my Caribbean Federation flag that I finally managed to come up with. Still got nothing for the Fascist version yet, though.

The last flag for tonight (for the Communist Flags portion anyway) is Addition #13 to the Random Communist Flag Designs Collection, which is simply just a copy of a design seen in C&C Generals as the icon for the "Nationalism" research-tech for the Chinese faction.

That's it for Post #1, now on to Post #2: the Fascist Flags!

I found this flag that I had made years ago. The explanation I gave for this to occur is absolutely bizarre but it was very early on when I was getting into alternate history. I only had paint but for my first time making a flag I think I did a pretty good job. But I think it still looks fairly cool, Thinking of remaking it and potentially keeping the crowns that I removed and make one for the Prussian part. But anyway here's the flag of Prussia-Austria-Hungary.

Next up on tonight's presentation, here we have the Fascist flags:

First up, my interpretation of the Sturmabteilung (or SA) flag, the Nazi paramilitary organization that helped lead to Hitler's rise to power in the 1920's and 1930's, before it was eclipsed by the Schutzstaffel (aka, the SS) and gutted in the Night of the Long Knives in 1934 (a bit of trivia, by the way: the SA still technically operated all the way to 1945, but it never recovered to its previous heights of power since the Night of the Long Knives).

I always wanted to get around to designing this one, because the IRL SA insignia looks hideously ugly to me (which is odd for Nazi iconography, since they're usually notoriously good with their designs; perhaps this was just a case of 'Early Installment Weirdness'? ...Which is itself weird to say, since this is the Nazis we're talking about here, they were always weird).

Speaking of Nazi weirdness, the next flag in the line-up here is for the Strasserist Black Front, (in)famously known around here as the strangely left-wing faction of the Nazi Party... well, as 'left-wing' as you can get with the fucking Nazis of all people. The Strassers were the odd ducks in Nazism in that they (for some reason) took the 'Socialist' part of the name 'National Socialist' seriously, unlike Hitler and company; as such, they put a bit more effort in putting out anti-capitalist rhetoric just as much as anti-communist rhetoric... though of course kept the virulent anti-Semitic rhetoric (though with more emphasis on the 'Jewish bankers' stereotypes than the racialism stuff). Like the previously-mentioned SA, the Strasserist faction of the Nazi Party got purged in the Night of the Long Knives, with Gregor Strasser getting shanked (his brother Otto was expelled from the NSDAP earlier in 1930 and went into exile to Czechoslovakia and later to Canada).

Strasserism's weird syncretism of left-wing economic ideas with far-right ultranationalism and racism has led to be considered the spiritual co-predecessor the modern "NazBol" meme ideology (among the most popular examples being the Totalists from the HoI4 Kaiserreich mod - the in-game ideology literally directly lifting the Strasserist "Sword and Hammer" to use as its own symbol).

Getting away from the Nazis for now, let's move on to the next flag on the list: the Israeli Kach Party! (*distant anti-Semitic screeching intensifies*) Anyways, remember my old Israeli Totalitariat flags? The Kach Party is where those flags get their gold/black color scheme. The Kach Party wasn't strictly a 'Fascist' party in a technical sense: however, it was a radical far-right party centered on a Jewish-Orthodox-nationalist ideology, which was called Kahanism, named after its creator and party founder Rabbi Meir Kahane (who, incidentally, was also the founder of the Jewish Defense League). The stated Kahanism was the transformation of Israel into a Jewish theocratic state, with all non-Jews having no voting rights - with Arabs, especially, being singled out, as the vast majority of Arabs living in Israel are viewed under Kahanism as being enemies and existential threats to Jews and Israel itself.

Needless to say, Kahane and Kach were kinda douchebags.

Unfortunately, despite Kahane being assassinated in 1990 and both Kach and its successor parties banned in Israel in 1992, the sentiments behind them are still somewhat present in modern Israel to some extent, if Israel's recent history is anything to go by (looking at you, Bibi; thankfully, Israelis these days are getting sick of his stupid antics).

Leaving aside the borderline-modern politics, the next flag here is an alternative Fascist Libya flag: where, instead of Tripolitania, say hello to the Libyan National Republic! Think of Tripolitania as being more of the Italian puppet/colonial regime, while the Libyan National Republic is more of an independent (but Italian-influenced) Arab fascist state.

Lastly for the Fascist flags, here we have Addition #8 to the Random Fascist Flag Design Collection. I'm sure this design was inspired by a design I saw on deviantART somewhere, I just can't remember where. Oh well, it's still nothing too special.

That rounds it out for tonight's Fascist flags, now onto the last few Miscellaneous flags for the night!
