My first flag, so don't be too harsh.
Essentially I'm bored of the same old rehash alternate US flag, so I made something completely different. Essentially the POD is that the United States loses the American revolution, and the French revolution wins and Napoleon supports the 2nd American revolution. However, instead of it being the creation of a landholder dominated Republic, the nature of this United States is different and they adopt from another source. Instead of looking to the Greeks, the landholding Americans look towards the Etruscan League as their inspiration, and thus the Directory of Rasenna, ruled by three consuls and dominated by the landless. The slaves are freed and the natives are mended to as well, essentially a complexly different America is born.
Their motto is "Libertas es Invincibilis" mean: Liberty is Invincible. Kinda weird, I know.

I really love the ideas behind this flag, and the flag itself, but the notion of an Etruscan-inspired American republic seems unlikely to say the least.
I really like the concept for the flag. My only concerns are that the emblem needs to be cleaned up and the text could probably use a different, sans-serif font.
i have been working on a nation and flag for a country i have been working on, its called The Federation Of The North Star and it consists of Alaska, Yukon, Nunavut, British Colombia and Eastern Siberia, the flag looks like this:
the 5 point represent the 5 states (it was 4 before the war with russia)
the blue represents the night sky
the star represents, well, the north star
the 2 bars represent the 2 continents the country lies on (asia and north america) and also before the war on russia there was only 1 bar (the right one)
the yellow bar on the bottom represents the earth (weird i know)

the yellow code is 255-242-0
the blue is 0-0-128
this is my first flag with simbalism please give feedback, and as always, hope ya like!
