Yours is clearly better then mine.

I'm impressed you had the same idea actually, it took me over a year and multiple different attempts to come up with that idea for a satisfactory way to mix the Union Jack and Tricolour.

The Sinha Reaches - another loose confederation, this one of Indian colony worlds. Since Sinha means lion, it might have a lion on it - otherwise, go crazy!

And just so they're all in one thread here are the other two from this set, Space China and the breakaway Cantonese state:

I tried to come up with a few different ones but they either looked terrible or made little sense in term of symbolism. In the end I used the White-cross-on-blue instead.

In 1809, two years after the Second Treaty of Tilsit, with which Prussia concede a lot of territories, Chancellor von Hardenberg persuade the King Frederick-Willliam III to move into liberal reforms. Hardenberg's example was the UK : in 1810, the Kingdom of Prussia become the United Provinces of Prussia, a constitutional kingdom.

I think you should try to make the state and civil flag's differences more apparent. After all, they are supposed to be distinguishable from a distance and while flapping.

Long live the Flag Thread!

Here is the flag of the Dominion of Borealy (alt-Canada).

Just goes to show that great minds thinks alike, some time ago I created a flag for an alt-canada called Borealia which also was one inspired by the union jack with an element of france (note that instead of the scottish flag, it uses the blue on white saltire of Nova Scotia)

Wow, that's good as well. Weird we suddenly get lots of good combinations of the Union Jack and Tricolour after we spent ages a few years ago fiddling around and being unable to get a satisfactory one!

Found this labelled 'Socialist America' so take that as you will. Not sure why or how I managed to equate the title and flag...

since we taking out our old flags, these were some of the designs I could come up with when I tried. The last 2 with the swords were based on the idea that the franco-british union was mostly a military one.

Could somebody make me a flag for an Anarchist terrorist organization, that is in the USA. Here is the symbol I wish to be used;

To be honest, that's not an anarchist symbol at all. It has vague connections to Nazi Fascism, but is otherwise connected to pagan occultism. The best anarchist flag would be plain black, or black and another color with a diagonal division (like the one Benkarnell did).

However, here is my take on it as a flag design:

due to the south being virtually beaten as well as the british, who both in a last ditch effort to save their respective countries form one nation, in which both nations signed The Articles of Confederation and Grand Union. Most of Canada falls to the states, British Columbia with a sizable portion of Rupert land become autonomous.

I've got a challenge for you guys.

What would the flag of an offworld colony look like that was founded to preserve the nearly-extinct Irish language, with other cultural influences coming from Scotland, England, France, Portugal, Quebec, and Cambodia?
