Alright, I know it's probably not meant to represent that, but my first thought was "Their flag is a lion with its head on fire! That is badass!"

Flag of the Danian Colonies

The Colonial Flags of Dania are based upon that of former Danian Mariana.
In order to signify Danian possession the local Prince Governor added the Danian flag to the hoist of the Marianan Standard.
On ascending the throne following his brother's death, Erik VI continued with this them for his colonial possessions.

Cool! I rather like the flag, though the fact that the green, white, and black stripes going around the side are of inconsistent thickness bugs me a little.

Looks amazing, but the only flaws I see are the black lines between the green/white stripes.
