Can someone make a flag of a communistic Zaire ? Will be called Peoples Republic of Zaire, a communistic state in africa which tries to annex the Republic of Congo and Gaboon.

What about the pattern of the first independence flag but with a red field and eleven stars on the hoist (to represent the "districts") ? The central star would be red fimibriated gold as unlike the others, it represent the Party. The use of the first post independence national flag would make sense considering its association with Lumumba who might be presented as a Lenin-like figure.

The chairman flag to the right is self explanatory.

Those are a lot better than the ones I tried to make and gave up on. I took the Zaire flag and made the field red, and tried to put a cog around part of the center circle (from Angola's flag).

a flag i just made used by Aztec socialists in my ASB ATL

at around the turn of the century, during the rule of Tlatoani Teyacapan, the Aztec Empire began to industrialize and many workers became more and more dissatisfied with their working conditions and the inequality of wealth between the macehualtin commoners and the pipiltin nobles and business-class; many consequently turned to socialism, though the ideology never became a significant force in Aztlan. the primary symbol of the flag is a classical interpretation of a jaguar warrior. this stems from Teyacapan's own actions during the period; a rather progressive man, Teyacapan sympathized with the workers and even ordered warrior-societies, notably the jaguars, to defend workers at protests and strikes from thugs hired by nobles and the business-class. as such, the jaguar warrior became a symbol of the workers

Love it. Did you draw it out or what?
no, jaguar warrior symbol is from this picture on wikipedia; i used the magic eraser in photoshop to get rid of most of the color, blacked-in everything else, shrank it down to the appropriate size, and then colored in layers beneath it with different individual colors (the yellow, red, crimson, and white that you see); its supposed to be relatively simplistic-looking. another potential aztec socialist symbol is a knockoff of the hammer and sickle, except it would be a hammer (or shovel or pickaxe) crossed on top of a macquitl (the jaguar warrior's weapon)

as a note, modern-era jaguar warriors ITTL dont actually wear jaguar pelts while performing their duties (because its honestly impractical in the present-day) and instead wear tunics and helmets with jaguar-print designs; other warrior societies have similar motifs, like the eagle warriors wear ones designed to look like the feathers of golden eagles

Well its not really based on the OTL Liechtenstein CoA at all. If you want busy, take a gander at this. Instead ITTL each quarter of the CoA is taken from the CoA of an associated state of the grand duchy. Its a very ramshackle jerry-rigged affair resulting ultimately from the fallout of the Partition of Switzerland.

It looks like the small shield is composed by OTL Graubunden's CoA and OTL Liechtenstein's. Very interesting, I suppose no one wanted the Romansh-speaking parts of Switzerland...

Yes, I figured it belongs to a "Greater Lichtenstein".

Ding-ding-ding. Though less that no one wanted the Romansh regions - after all OTL Graubünden is nearly 70% German speakers - and more that the opportunity presented itself and the politics simply worked out. Remember that prior to 1866 IOTL Lichtenstein was part of the German Confederation; ITTL its going to be one of the founding members of the German empire, and gaining greater prestige in order to have more seats in the Staatenhaus (and thus a better chance of being elected Kaiser) will be the goal of every ruling house within the empire.

Euro 2012

Anyone design some flags for the Euro 2012 championship?

Also, can someone do something for what Eurovision would look like in 5 years time?

The AH one we're running? Because some have been done already and the others I'll sort out once all the teams are finished.
Or the real one, in which case I don't exactly get what you're saying.
As for Eurovision, I would assume it would be most likely exactly the same as usual, with perhaps a few nations coming back (Poland, Czech Republic) a few more dropping out (possibly for financial reasons) and maybe some new entries like Kosovo, Lichtenstein and (possibly) Scotland.

Euro 2012: I mean the real one, like the current flags with added football extras!

Eurovision: I would like to see some scoreboard designs to showcase that. Like what someone did a few years back.

I like the chairmans flag. With a bit of tweaking, the emblem could be turned into the coat of arms of Lumumba's Democratic Republic of the Congo! :D
