First Or Second Balkan War And World War I At The Same Time

So is there a chance to get the First, or Second Balkan war to happen at the same time as Franz Ferdinand assassination, and the start of World War I. Like for example the First Balkan war is delayed till 1914, fighting occurs, then Franz Ferdinand is assassinated.

Is it possible to get that to happen?

If so, what happens to the overall World war?

Or, you could have it all happen in 1911 -- have the Agadir Crisis of 1911 not be defused and war breaks out between France and Britain on one side and Germany on the other. Meanwhile, Italy attacks Ottoman Libya and is successful, prompting the Balkan States to invade Ottoman Rumelia. There's a possibility that Austria-Hungary and Russia will (ironically) sit it out, but the situation would be fertile for potential sub-crises.

That's pretty interesting, but is there a way to get the wars to coincide with one another?

Through this such "Western European War Over Agadir" lasting till 1912 or beyond? One difficulty for this, i'm afraid, is that the Haber-Bosch Process, through which Germany produced its own nitrates independently of the Chilean supply, was still being implemented in 1911, but i can see the development of such a chemical process being sped up through an ongoing war.

Garber Bosch is not the only way to get nitrates. There are natural nitrates such as cow manure and it' also a byproduct of coming coal

It's a problem for the Germans because their agriculture used a lot and they needed to import fodder. Food production also declines as men and horses go to the front.

The Germans real problem isn't nitrates but their poor food management

Avoiding the first Balkan war would create such massive butterflies on WW1 as we know it would be substantially different.

However if the Second Balkan war was avoided I could see Franz Ferdinand still being assassinated. The timing and circumstances of his Sarajevo visit would have excited the Black Hand similarly to OTL and they would have reacted the same way. So the web of alliances in Europe would play out just like they did in OTL and we get *WW1.

The difference is what would happen after *WW1 would start because Bulgeria would hold a lot more of Thrace and that would make it considerably stronger. However this is balanced out by the fact that the Ottomans will really want Edirne back and there is no way in hell they will be friendly to the Bulgarians who annexed it. If Bulgaria attacks Serbia than the Ottoman Empire will attack Bulgaria even if it has to ally with the Entente and Russia to do so.

So yes, you can have the Second Balkan war and WW1 happen at the same time.
