Film Industry without WWI?

Before 1914, France possessed the world's premier film industry, being popular even in the United States. It used to be the dominant power concerning the production of movies....until World War I. This caused the shift of power to fall more or less on to Hollywood. My question here, is, if World War I doesn't happen, or gets greatly delayed, what would the film industry be like? Would French films be the ones we see in every movie theater?

I don't think it'd make much difference by now, or anytime much after Talkies came into being.
Isn't it the case in OTL that Bollywood is by now bigger than Hollywood, yet Anglophone audiences still prefer films made in English?

Four whole years without film development is a lot, and I think that dubbed French movies could be a real possibility, the same way American movies are dubbed into other languages in the foreign market.
