How would Cuba have turned out if Fidel Castro was busy trying to win a pennant instead of overthrowing the Batista regime?

Cracked is a useless horrible site that consistently tries to pass off blatant falsehoods and urban legends as truth. At no point did Castro play on a team aside from a college intramural (like everyone else in Cuba, baseball is huge there) and was never swooped up by any scouts.
