Female only Priesthood for Christianity (or Equivalent)

Yeah I know this is unlikely due to Pauline (and other) influence in Christianity. If need be, I'm fine moving this to ASB so people don't spam the thread with complaints about implausibility.

With that said, what would be the impact of a female only priesthood within Christianity or a similarly widespread monotheistic religion, preferably within the Roman Empire and beyond?

I would imagine this would have immense impact on the diffusion of political power and education.
 
At a wild guess, it would have to be one of the Magna Mater cults to take Christianity's place. Although, even those tended to have male priests (sometimes eunuchs, iirc). Certainly not going to happen with any religion that grew out of Judaism.
 
While female only would be a tough sell, I could see it being tweaked into becoming female-dominant, if say the faction surrounding Mary Magdalene had won the disputes (from what I recall, her primary 'antagonist' was Peter) in the earliest Christianity
