Federal Giants: Teams that shock Europe

I was considering the other day how we could get another major league in Europe on the level with England, Spain, Italy and Germany and it seems to be the best way is some sort of central powers victory time line. A Federal super league for Austria Hungary could provide another major league. Some potential competitors:

Ferencvárosi The top prewar Hungarian club.
MTK Hungária FC Dominated the Hungarian league during WWI.
Sportklub Rapid Wien Two prewar and two war Austrian championships.
Slavia Prague Czech team that dominated the Czechoslovakian league in the early years along with....
Sparta Prague The other early top Czech team.
1. ČsŠK Bratislava Top Slovakian team founded in 1919.
HNK Hajduk Split Croatian team from Split founded in 1911.
NK Zagreb First team founded in Croatia in 1903.
Fudbalski klub Slavija First Bosnian team founded in 1909 although Serb dominatated.

A number of the "big names" from the region get butterflied away as they don't come into existence until after ww2, mostly the soviet style union based ones. So any thoughts or comments, could a team from a Federal super league lift the European cup if/when it is started?

You dont need to go to all that hassle for a european super league. One involving clubs from Belgium, Holland, Denmark, Sweden, Portugal, Norway and Scotland almost happened a few years ago, but never got rubberstamped by UEFA(I think) so were cancelled. Just have that be accepted by UEFA and FIFA.
