What if FDR was assassinated February 15, 1933 by Giuseppe Zangara and Huey long survives his assassination attempt on September 8, 1935 Carl Weiss miss Huey long and After that he runs for president in 1936 gets nominated and defeats his republican challenger in a landslide victory what would a Huey long president look like if America still joins the Allied Forces in world war 2 and the attack on Pearl Harbor still happens

I think people underestimate Garner's chances of retaining the presidency in 1936. There would still be economic recovery in the US, if only because (1) there was some degree of recovery throughout the world in 1933-7; and (2) the recovery would be accelerated by the Veterans' Bonus Bill--which Congress would presumably pass over Garner's veto as it did over FDR's in OTL. https://pdfs.semanticscholar.org/5fe6/9df4347b6492d8ed108401b4078897350bf5.pdf

There would be no way to name a new VP throughout Garner's first term. Maybe Huey Long is chosen as VP in 1936. In 1940, 72-year old Garner should choose not to run again, putting Long as the Democratic Candidate in 1940. How does the 1940 election pan out: Long vs. Wilkie? I would imagine the war in Europe would be an issue. With no president serving more than two terms, there is no need to amend the constitution for a term limit. (Oh yes, if Wilkie wins, the "presidential zero" strikes again as Wilkie dies in 1944.)
