Fate of the Channel Islands in ye olde Reich Triumphant scenario?

While in Britain last month, I picked up a book about the Channel Islands occupation by Germany in WW2. It got me wondering - what would happen to the islands in your usual Nazis Win WW2 TL? Would they be annexed by Germany? Given to France? Given to France with large military bases leased to/owned by Germany?

Realistic (with maximum wankery) "Nazi Win" scenarios are the Nazis having all of central and eastern Europe. The Wallies are never going to accept Germany annexation of France, much less actual British territory. And there is no scenario outside of ASBs in which the Nazis can actually defeat as in completely neutralize Britain, which is what would be required for stuff like the Channel Islands to be conceded.

So a white peace will be signed where Britain and France recognize Germany's gains in eastern and central europe, the nazis will leave the islands, they will go back to Britain and that will be the end of it. In fact, if I recall, the channel island occupiers, believing the war would quickly end in a German victory, were prepared to leave soon, which is also why there was not (early in the occupation) a lot of animosity between the occupiers and the occupied, as it was expected this would be a short term thing.

I can't see the Nazis giving back the Channel islands back to the UK. Unless the UK is going to be a fellow traveler of the Nazis, the Channel islands would become advanced radar stations, eavesdropping on any German communications, and you know they will be a point for insertion/extraction of agents.

Then this will become a total war with Britain, which Germany, possibly even Hitler, knows it cant win in the long run.

The entire German WWII plans depended on quick victories, as Germany could not win a war of production and economy.

Not even Hitler is going to let complete victory go to trash just over not handing over the channel islands.

The islands were occupied in June 1940 and garrisoned from then on. In a scenario where Britain negotiated an end to hostilities sometime in late 1940 (i.e. Germany has won the war of 1939-40) then the islands would probably have been evacuated and British control restored since they are militarily worthless.
