But they were pretty much right-wingers, weren't they? I've got the impression that they stood farther on the right than FDR or even Wallace on the Left...

That might depend on which of these particular figures on the Right we discuss.

People like Smith and Coughlin certainly were. But Lindbergh just seems misguided IMO.
