Fascist Italy survives: Who succeeds Mussolini?

Considering there are many threads discussing succession in a victorious Third Reich, I'd ask a different question for a change: In a scenario where Fascist Italy survives WW2, who would succeed Benito Mussolini as leader of Fascist Italy and why?

Scenario A: Fascist Italy survives by virtue of staying neutral ala Spain in WW2
Scenario B: Fascist Italy survives by virtue of the Axis "winning" WW2.
Scenario C: Fascist Italy survives by virtue of WW2 being averted

In scenario A, much depend on when Benny step down...aka die or his health fail him; Mussolini had the habit of (politically) eliminate anyone that can become a possible menace to him and to not design a (real) possible successor so to not aggregate possible rivals.
Maybe a collective leaderships with Ciano or Balbo as frontman

If WW2 is totally avoided or Italy remain neutral and Allies still win WW2, Italy probably transfer soon to democracy after Mussolini's death like Portugal and Spain. And surely Mussilini tries keep power so long he is breathing. He is too egocentric to retire.

If there is no war or if Italy stays out of it, or if it's a very short war, then Balbo doesn't die prematurely and he's a good candidate - save that lukedalton, above, is right, Balbo was in Africa in the first place because Mussolini saw him as a potential competitor. Mussolini would be more likely to nominate as heir apparent somebody entirely dependent on him, like Ciano, not somebody who might havce some popularity on his own.
Ciano, on the other hand, would probably become a nobody, and a disliked nobody, the minute Mussolini dies...

Dino Grandi is a possible. Didn't die until mid eighties OTL so probably likely to outlive Mussolini by 25 or 30 years if he doesn't get himself killed in the succession struggle. And, depending on circumstances, De Vecchi got on relatively well with the King, Church and Army for a Fascist. Ciano wasn't liked but he was no fool. Could have hung on for a couple of years playing off competing factions against one another. But would have had to stand (or fall) aside once any faction became dominant. Balbo if he survived is a strong candidate but has republican views. Old establishment likely to prefer any of the three previously named to him and use their influence accordingly.

So, what about succession in a Nazi victory scenario?

The Germans probably lean on Italy to appoint someone very sympathetic or out-right loyal to Berlin.

However, I should also note that we're assuming Nazi Germany outlives Benny de Mousse.
