Fascist England vs Fascist France

Here's an alternate World War Two scenario I considered. Say that the great war is lost by the allies for whatever reason. The central powers force harsh demands on the allies and as a result reactionary revenchist movements develop in the UK, France and other countries. But say that the English and French fascism is of such a vastly different nature that the two countries end up at odds with each other. In England a sort of neo-cromwellian movement develops which scapegoats Catholics with a "backstabbed" myth that they sided with the Germans in the Easter uprising.

Meanwhile in France an explicitly Catholic neo-monarchist movement develops which is closer to Italian fascism. The narrative in France is that the country was destroyed by the French revolution and needs to return to its former glory. Mussolini probably comes to power at the same time as OTL.

Is this plausable at all or ASB, And with this type of dynamic developing what happens?
