Fascist CSA?

Okay, well, what it be by the 20th century? How would it adapt to changing times? Or, do you think it would collapse before then?

Wrong again, Tennessee voted *against* secession the first time and was drawn in only after Fort Sumter in an ad hoc fashion that heavily contributed to the problems of the Army of Tennessee from the start. When secession was held to a vote, it failed. When it was done by convention, it succeeded, because conventions are to a real extent anti-democratic.

I have provided a source showing that 3 Confederate states held public referendums and voted for secession. You have provided no source showing these events did not happen.

Killer 300- there was a paperback called A More Perfect Union a few years ago in which the South was ruled by an iron dictator.Believe the South was fascist.Writer was Robert Stapp. The book was published by Berkley in 1971.The South was allowed to go in peace by Lincoln after Fort Sumter and is now a nuke armed police state.
