Famous People From An Alternate World-Barbarossa Doesn't Drown

As Alternatehistorybuff5341's thread, except that due to the early POD, you are allowed to create characters from the 13th century onward. This is a world where Holy Roman Emperor Frederick Barbarossa didn't drown.

Michael XIII Romanov, Roman Emperor (1861-1918, reigned 1881-1918)

Michael XIII Romanov was the last Emperor of the Basileion ton Rhomaion to wield absolute power. He ruled from Ethiopia to Croatia, from Mesopotamia to Tunisia. However, such a large empire meant that it was fraught with nationalistic revolts, and in 1918, the Basileion battered by years of constant war (first against Persia and the United Crown, then fighting against the Holy Roman Empire), he relinquished power, abdicating and establishing a constitution for his son, Michael XIV, to rule by. He died of complications from illness, three months later.

August Wilhelm Von Erzengel, Holy Roman Emperor, Archduke of Austria, Duke of Burgundy, etc. (1906-1945, reigned 1924-1945)

August Wilhelm Von Erzengel was Holy Roman Emperor from 1924 to 1945, during the key phases of the Long War (1915-1950), in which he was one of the key leaders against the Russian Empire (which lasted from 1871 to 1950, being replaced by the Russian Union State at the treaty that concluded the Long War). He was a Constitutional Monarch, and oversaw the technological development of the Long War, which began with trenches and cavalry charges and ended with atom bombs.

Mattheus Komnenos-Tepes, Grand Duke of Alexandria, Count of Gaza, Prince of the Crusader Kingdom of Egypt (1564-1649, reigned from 1589-1649)

Mattheus Komnenos-Tepes was the eldest son of the Rhomanian princess Maria Komnenos and the King of Egypt Michael Tepes. He ascended the throne without much of the intrigue and violence that usually plagued his predecessors. He ushered in a golden age for Egypt's economic and cultural dominance in the eastern portion of the Meditterraen. He expanded Egypt's territory in multiple wars against both Christian and Muslim that lasted various decades, commissioned the constructions of large Christian basilicas throughout his vast empire, and oversaw the reconstruction of the old Nile canal.

Philip VIII the Good, King of France and Navarre (1812-1884, reigned 1842-1884)
Third son of King John IV of France and Isabella of Spain. He acceeded the throne after the sudden death of his elder brother Louis XVIII and, according to the will of John IV, by bypassing the rights of his mentally illed older brother Robert.
While Philip VIII didn't achived anything truly great during his reign, he stands as the most popular King of his time. This is due to the fact that he built many schools and hospitals during his reign and did everything to ensure the wealth of France and its people. Philip VIII also toured the country three times during his life, which contributed a lot to his popularity.
Philip VIII is also remembered to have modified French successoral law. Having only daughters with his wife, Charlotte of Bavaria, and being the only surviving male descendant of King Charles X, his great grandfather, he allowed women to succeed on the condition they didn't marry a foreign prince so that France would remain independant.
At his death, this new successoral law allowed his eldest daughter to become Catherine I, the first real Queen of France. Although there could have been strong male pretenders to the throne, notably Duke Henry of Orléans, the first prince by blood, none of them tried to seize the crown due to the popularity of King Philip VIII and his family.
