Families that ruled more than one country

When looking at European history, one can see that there were many royal families that ruled more than one country, be it in personnal union or not.

Here are some of them, probably the most known :

-The Hapsburg (Austria, Hungary, Spain, Naples and The Netherlands at the height of their power. They also held some Italian Miniors as well as the Holy Roman Empire.)

-The Bourbons (France, Spain, Naples and the Duchy of Parma)

-The Jagellons (Poland-Lithuania, Hungary)

-The Bonapartes (France, Italy, Spain, Westphalia and Holland. They also had relatives ruling on Naples and Tuscany. They ruled for a short time though)

Do you know other Royal Families that ruled more than one country?
And did we had similar situations outside of Europe?

Also, were there families that could have ruled one or more countries but failed to do so?

The Stuarts - England, Scotland, Ireland
The Hannoverians - UK, Ireland, Hannover
The Trastamaras - Castille, Aragon
Tudors - England, Ireland
Plantagenets (including Lancastrians and Yorkists) - England, France (claimed)

Most European Royal Families were effectively branches of one country by 1914

There are a lot more, especially in Scandinavia

The House of Anjou (of Valois-Anjou, that is):
- The Kingdom of Naples (and Sicily, until the Vespers rebellion)
- The County of Provence
- The Kingdom of Hungary (Croatia, too)

- Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg (Danmark, Norway, Greece)
- Wittelsbach (Bavaria, Greece)

The Vasas: Sweden, Poland-Lithuania (Sigismund III)
The Wettins: Saxony, Poland-Lithuania
The Bathorys: Transylvania, Poland-Lithuania

To some degree the Piasts: after Poland split into many duchies in 12th century, but also after reunification of some of Polish lands: Poland, Silesia (well, parts of it), Masovia

The Vasas
Holstein-Gottorp
Bernadotte
All of them ruled apart from Sweden Finland up to 1809 and Norway up to 1905

Saxe-Kolberg & Gotha, or whatever the Windsors use to be called. The U.K and Hannover! I mean; Hannover! What can be greater than beings its electorate?

The House of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, which would include, at various times, Belgium, Great Britain, Portugal, Bulgaria and Russia if you use Queen Victoria.

Most of the German Houses end up this way, if only within the Empire, so we have:

Wittlebach's-Bavaria and the Rhinish Palatinate.
Hohenzollern-Brandenburg-Prussia, Prussia, Germany, Romania, Hohenzollern Sigmaringen, Hohenzollern Heichingen.
Welfs- Brunswick (-Luneburg, -Kalenburg etc.) and also some of the Italian duchies
Reuss (two principalities)
Schwarzburg (two principalities)
Wettins
-Albertine: Electoral Saxony, Poland
-Ernestine: Duchy of Saxony, all those little Thurungian duchies (Saxe-Coburg, Saxe-Gotha etc.), UK (Edward VII, George V), though they were known by the prinipality in the end.

Jagelion: Poland, Hungary, and Bohemia.
Luxembourg: Luxembourg, Brabant, Bohemia, Holy Roman Empire Hungary.
von Oranje: Netherlands, England.
von Mecklenburg: Mecklenburg, Sweden.
Bourbon: France, Navarre, Spain, Two Sicilies.

Various Italian houses have held a lot of titles in the area at some point or another.

The Hapsburg also ruled Mexico in 1863-1867

The House of Borgia had the Vatican, the Romagna and several duchies...don't know if that counts.

Then there's of course the House of Genghis Khan and his descendants.

And Thanks to Mussolini, the House of Savoy had a King of Italy that also served as King of Albania and Emperor of Abyssinia.

Not to mention the Savoy King of Fascist Croatia.

The Savoy also ruled Spain for a short time: king Amadeo I.

My rough understanding of Indian and Japanese history is that this sort of thing happened there, too. Of course, I can't come up with any examples.

Rurik Dynasty had um alot. Im going to chalk it down to if its in European Russia chances are it was led by a Rurikovich at one point.
