Hi,
most guerilla wars seem to be decided by a political victory (Algeria, Angola, South Africa) or the intervention of an regular force on the side of the guerillas (Jugoslawia in WWII, Vietnam in the end, napoleonic Spain).
I'm looking for examples of partisans / guerillas wining a military victory by wiping out the enemy force and taking over the country.
So far I have:
-Castro in Cuba
-Afghanistan after the Soviets pulled out
-Haitian independence
-Khmer Rouges
-Musevini in Uganda
Thanks in advance.
