Everybody Contributes Thread

This is a lot like the Quote Game Thread, except instead of quotes everyone posts an addon to the TL starter posted by the first poster.

First TL bit:

Christopher Columbus watched with pride in May 1493 as his two ships, the Pinta and the Santa Clara, left harbor in Hispaniola. Soon they would reach Spain.

Suddenly, over the next couple of days, a great wind blew up. Rain and sea spray soaked the sailors, and waves as tall as the Pinta's masts slammed into the ships. The monstrous wind and waves forced the two ships onto the rocks of Hispaniola and wrecked both of them. The surviving sailors, Columbus not included, swam to shore and climbed up onto the rocks, where the Native Americans took them prisoner.

The Europeans were first untrusted by the Natives but then once the Nativesw began to fall ill they began to believe it was a sign from the gods to slaughter the sailros so most died, but a few Native Women were already pregnant, thier children would be partially resistant to diseases.

Meanwhile in Hispaniola the goevernment decided with Columbus gone (They Dont know what happend, they just know he's gone.) they might keep the colony small or just leave.
