European empires after a nazi victory

Germany holds Europe and allies hold Africa, have beaten Japanese and there no hope for allied victory in Europe.what happens to many Europeans colonies, would they gain independence or be held on by governments in exile propped up by American and British help.could Algeria become an apartheid state with free france in charge

If France is going to rule from Algiers long-term (which I don't think is likely, a lot of things have to happen for that to be a desirable choice) then they would have to grant citizenship to the Arabs.

If they don't, the US/UK/friends will just recognize Vichy government and view Free France as a radical splinter group, because seeing as ITTL their main long-term enemy is the Nazis, they aren't going to ally with a blatantly apartheid state that has similar policies.

You probably know that USA too was pretty segregationist country, leastly southern states, so apartheid Algeria not be necessarility big moral problem for Americans.

And enemy of enemy is friend, not matter of politics.

They won't have problem with it until 60s or 70s
