Today is the 80th anniversary of Kristallnacht, which turned the majority of the world public against Nazi Germany and is credited for ending the era of appeasement. But what if Ernst vom Rath's assassination never took place? Would it have any effect on France and especially Britain's attitudes towards Germany in 1939? I'm guessing not much since Germany would still occupy Bohemia and Moravia, but I'd like to know your thoughts.
