Epitomies of EPCOT

If you've been following, EPCOT, Florida in the Maps and Graphics thread, I did a feasible alternative timeline for the Disney World property if Walt Disney lived another few decades. That is one practical version of what EPCOT may have become. But honestly, I may be able to slowly develop three or four more versions that would've operated differently.

Walt Disney from the time he opened his first studio in Burbank, California was trying to create different types of subdivision properties for himself and his company to live in. There are numerous concepts for housing tracts, towns, and more of Walt since the 1930's. EPCOT was one evolution of this idea as Walt got more fascinated with urban planning after the opening of Disneyland in the 50's. Its doubtful it would've been his last or only concept for such a community. What if Disney had not envisioned EPCOT as a large scale factory down in the heart of Florida, but other visions which might've been more practical up the scale and be developed. We might talk about his very vague Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow being built in a city inside of rural Florida, around of his theme parks on the east coast as its source of job creation, in the middle of Kansas in the farm belt, the deserts of California, or somewhere else.

There are different hypothetical versions of EPCOT that may have made sense had Walt drifted in that direction if he didn't for Disney World. Most would be dramatically smaller, but they may have worked and made sense.

I don't plan on writing a novel about this subject like many other threads do, so don't expect a lot of writing, but it will somewhat.
