Entente ottoman empire

As we know, in OTL the ottoman empire was saved many times by the british, the most famous one was during the russo turkish war when the brits helped them to prevent the russian influence in the middle east increase, so what if the british empire decided to do not confiscate the ottoman ships, and made a deal like "Join us and we will give you sinai back and any land you can grab from Bulgaria"? Would the ottoman empire cause some damage in the central powers war effort, or we would see the Bulgarian and austro hungarian forces marching into Instanbul in 1916?

The Ottomans weren't idiots. They suspected (entirely correctly) that the French Interest in Syria, British interest in Mesopotamia and Russian interest in the Dardanelles meant they faced partition post WWI if the Entente had a free hand.

This was when they were neutral, the Russians and French would demand concessions as part of any alliance and the British would be loath to expose an artery as vital as the Suez for any length of time.

The Ottomans thought that their best chance of survival lay in the frustration and possible destruction of the Russian Empire (which had been in no way subtle pre WWI in its contempt of the Ottoman Empire and how its collapse would be beneficial.

The Ottomans approached Russia with an alliance offer in 1914 after their offer to Germany. Sazonov declined.

IIRC the Ottomans approached the French about a possible alliance during the visit of their foreign minister to Paris a year or two before the war started, when the French refused to commit they turned to the Germans instead.
