English South America?

Would have been if the history of South American colonization, was like the one in North America or Australia?

Would they have sparse population, like Australia?
Would there be more industry today?
Would we even have mesticos?

Anglo-saxons were not be that eager to mixing the races.

Catholic peoples like Spaniards and Portugese were brutals in the ways of christianization, but they mixed with day one with Indian peoples,or latter, blacks.

In contrast, Anglos are not imposing their religion, but were not eager to mix.

I think the population of todays Mexico or Peru would be, 89% white, 10% blacs, maybe 1% Indians or mixed.

Colonies would be either manufacturers,or farmers and miners.

Non of that would have place for the Indians, only to whites or black slaves.

The indians woulda have been destroyed almost completly in the wars, like they were in the US.

Would they have sparse population, like Australia?

Unlikely. The population of these places depend on how much agriculture they can support before industrialisation. Australia is sparse because its mostly desert. South America can handle a lot more.

Would there be more industry today?

Maybe a little more, but not that much. Brazil and Argentina were part of Britain's informal empire anyway, with plenty of British investment in industry.

Would we even have mesticos?

Well the Anglo-Saxons mixed a lot in the early days of India, although they later stopped. Here there would likely be less intermixing than with the Spanish, but more than the English did elsewhere.

Highly unlikely. There is a huge "Indian" (actually Native American) population in Mexico and Peru before the British turn up. Mexico and Peru also aren't right for a plantation economy, so there's not likely to be many Africans imported.

The indians woulda have been destroyed almost completly in the wars, like they were in the US.

No. The reason there are so few Native Americans in the US is that there weren't many to begin with. The native populations of Mexico and Peru also suffered huge losses, but there were so many of them that there's still a big population despite these losses. (About 50 million in Latin America before contact, versus 2 million in Anglo America.)

Untrue. Native Americans, African Americans, Cape Coloureds, Anglo-Indians, a large number of New Zealanders and West Indians all have mixed white/other ancestry. Britishers would mix with the native or slaves in certain circumstances (i.e., a lack of European women—which is the primary reason that the Iberian colonists mixed with indigenous and African women).
