Whatever scenario enables the CSA to win is up to the poster, but regardless, how would the Confederate States develop in terms of languages?
Would *Oklahoma have Indian languages as co-official?
Would the Confederacy do what the United States did not and actually have an official language?
How does Confederate English develop? The USA retained a lot of 18th Century anachronistic aspects to US English. What about the CSA retaining late 19th Century anachronisms?
Would Southern dialects-within-dialects become stronger or more blurred? (Presuming a median course and neither Turtlewank or Damnfoolery causing the CSA to be destroyed)?
And what about black speech? Does it end up becoming more like Gullah? Does a TL-191 situation where black dialects emerge that are strongly distinct happen?
