Very possibly. For one thing, you would probably find a lot of Canadian actors...even more than in OTL Hollywood...finding jobs in the Confederate movie and broadcasting industries. William Shatner as Captain of the C.S.S. Enterprise, perhaps?
That would be interesting, also. A standard Confederate English based on the Georgia dialect. I wonder if, in the interest of "national security" the CSA wouldn't try to standardize black dialects using Georgia black dialects....
That would presume, of course, that they have decided to educate the black population. Assuming the blacks have been emancipated, and aren't under some form of Jim Crow, this might be likely. But if we are looking at a TL-191 type of situation, probably not.
