Hemu was forced to pull back the elephant to maintain distance between his elephant musketeers. seeing the afghan cavalry slacking Bairam khan send his reserve cavalry of Ali quli khan out which circling around, fall on the afghan centre from the rear. seeing this Hemu with the cover of His artillery start the full attack on Mughal centre and send his lieutenants Bhagwan das to counter turkey archer only force present in the field which can present danger to his elephant unit.
The Mughal central routed as it meets the elephant musketeers, seeing this turkey cavalry and horse archer try to cross afghan rank to save cental of Mughal but it came into range of artillery from the rear and from the flank, Bhagwan das end the menace of Turk from field .after that Bhagwan das support afghan rank. seeing the routing of central flank Ali quli khan seeing defeat retreat towards the tent of Mughal.
Seeing the fleeing of Mughal army Hemu send Haji Ali commander of afghan cavalry raid the Mughal tents where they capture Mughal emperor Akbar and his regent Bairam khan.
Bairam Khan was beheaded and Akbar was kept in Delhi as a prisoner. Sikandar Shah Suri defeated by Hemu Afghan force leader Shadi Khan Kakkar in a battle of Jalandhar in Punjab. Hemu sends Shadi khan to siege Kabul for securing the northwestern frontier of his empire, and start consolidating his rule in Delhi and Punjab.
Hearing the news of the defeat of Mughal and capture of Akbar Mughal court take refuge in Persian court and minuscule force of Mughal defeat by Bhagwan das and Shadi khan, but Hemu assassinated Shadi khan and make Bhagwan das as his diwan of Kabul and Multan, Hemu Make Haji Khan his friend the Diwan of Lahore.
