So, this is sort of inspired by @Jan Olbracht thread about a Habsburg England instead of a Habsburg Spain, but with an earlier twist to it. What happens if in 1482, after the death of Mary of Burgundy and after having seen his daughter spurned by France, Edward IV arranges a marriage between his daughter Elizabeth of York and Maximilian? Say the marriage happens in late 1482/early 1483, whilst Edward IV is still alive, what happens next?
If he knows his niece is married to the Emperor, does Richard III bother trying to do what he did otl, and if he does, would Maximilian consider sending troops to invade to protect the rights of his wife's brothers? If not, would Maximilian wait for a chance to get at Richard?
And what of Henry VII? Does Henry remain a fugitive in Brittany, or does he decide to marry another one of Edward IV's daughters should Richard do as he did otl?
