Nixon~Lodge in 1956 and also in 1960 (if Ike's death is after 1/20/55, or else he'd not be elegible to run in '60).
If Nixon wins in 56, and Eisenhower died in late 55 or early 56 then Nixon would run again in 60. I'd be interested in who he might be running against in 60...
Agnew? Where did he come from? He was nothing in 1956, and in fact wasn't elected Governor of Maryland until 1966.
Even in 1968, being chosen for VP was only because all other choices had the potential to take away more from the ticket than they added (this is before everybody knew how gaffe ridden Agnew was).
