einem Preußischen Prinzen auf dem Niederländischen Thron

How would the world react and what would it mean for the Netherlands had Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands married a prussian prince?

Would she still decide to have her children be Oranje-Nassau or would they take the name of the father?

What would happen to the Netherlands in WW1?
Just a Prussian prince? Exactly the same thing that had happened with prince Hendrik. He would merely be the prince consort. The Dutch royal family would remain Orange-Nassau. The Netherlands would stay out of World War 1. Why would it matter if Wilhelmina's husband came from Prussia or Mecklenburg-Schwerin?

it was at the time a great fear in the Netherlands that if she would marry a Prussian the Netherlands would lose their independence or neutrality, though the bigger fear was for Wilhelmina not to get any children. Her marrying a Brit though, was impossible.

according to several documentaries the world in general (europe: Belgium, France, the UK) was rather happy she did not marry a Prussian.
