Effects of "no crusades" on Arab-Mongol relations

If there were no Levantine crusades for whatever reason how would Arab states in Mideast face Mongols? Asuming Mongols develop as per OTL.

Crusader's neighbours militarized as a response to crusades, if this doesn't happen do they fare even worse?

The Middle East ends up more or less conquered by the Mongols. The Crusades was mostly a result of the Byzantines pleading aide to recover some lands from the Seljuk Turks, so I'm guessing Anatolia is still Byzantine-controlled.
