Ok, so let's presuppose as a POD that somehow the Allies manage to keep the Burma Road open during the Japanese invasion of Burma in 1942. (Any specific POD). They then proceed to reinforce the Burma Front with the express intention of keeping the Road open to allow for more Lend-Lease aid to head to Nationalist China and beat off any future Japanese attempts to cut the road.

How would TTL's aid to China be different than OTL's?

-Obviously sheer volume is one aspect, but how much more could be transported? What kind of goods?

-How would this affect the Nationalist Chinese army? More tanks?

-Would the allies attempt to build up the Chinese industrial base?

-What about the Chinese Air Force? What would it look like in TTL?

Given these changes then, how would this affect the war?
