Economic Effects if UK accepts all post-WWII European Jewish Diaspora?

Britian had a critical labor shortage post-war, so what if the Attle government simply opens the door to Jewish Refuges to solve it?

How does this effect the post war economy of Britain and will there still be a need for the wave of immigration from the Commonwealth nations later in the 50s?

As Jewish terrorists were murdering British soldiers at the time I don't think they'd have had much of a welcome. At the start of Attlee's term of office yes, but by 1948-9 no. If they did come they'd at least at the start be doing the low or no skilled jobs the West Indians were doing so the economy would stay the same. Long term even taking into account those who had marketable skills and/or professional qualifications, the economy might have been slightly better but probably not by much. There were too many structural, managerial and union related problems in British industry to be solved. Would their presence stop the flow of immigrants from the Commonwealth into Britain? I doubt it, they may not be as actively recruited as they were to begin with but they still had British Passports and still wanted a better life than they already had. They'd still come, and up until the 70's the jobs were there to attract them.
