I have been reading through the discussion thread about US not entering WW1 one of the interesting points made being the combo of von Hindenburg and Ludendorff being called and I quote : " Laurel and Hardy are horrid generals"
Who would be in command of the Eastern front for the Germans if not the terrible duo of Hindenburg and Ludendorff ?
Is there some realistic good choices that could have made a big difference ?
Hindenburg had retired in 1911 and got called back to duty.
