Early US Elections-Effects of different Outcomes?

The first few elections in the United States in my opinion were rather pivotal, as they were setting foundations for the future of the democracy they had crafted and also making important decisions that would effect the nations history.

I'm curious, how do some people think things might have gone differently if in any of the earlier elections, there were different results? This could be anything from Washington only staying for one term, or even for three, to candidates who lost winning, or even those who sought the presidency but didn't manage to reach the ballot itself managing to do just that.

What do people think? Anyone have any preferred scenarios to start us off with?

For starters:

WI: John Jay is second in 1789 instead of John Adams?
WI: Washington doesn't run a second time?
WI: John Jay wins the Federalist nomination instead of John Adams in 1796?
WI: Thomas Pinckney is Vice President in 1796, instead of Thomas Jefferson?
WI: Burr is elected instead of Jefferson in 1800?
WI: George Clinton is the Republican Presidential Candidate in 1808 instead of James Madison?
