Well if its before the late 1730s you only have 12 colonies, not 13.
OTL the 13 repeatedly tried and failed to get Canada to join. It would depend on which colony leaves first, what happens, and what it could do or experience to entice others to go.Alright. I'll count any scenario in which most of the British Americas get free of the British Empire. Perhaps a few get free then others are influenced into following them into independence?
Unlikely OTL the south american revolutions happened when Spain was occupied, unless you replicate a similar event I dont think it will or could happen. How about independence movements in the non British parts of the Americas? Perhaps either the revolutionary spirit could spread?
A speaking of a revolution and its battles, when is the latest we could see a national leader personally leading forces into battle? It doesn't have to be from the very front, he could be witnessing the battle from a horse a bit back from the main fighting.
Could it not have happened during the War of the Spanish Succession? Especially if there are several viceroys in Spanish America who did support the losing side in the conflict and now that the die is cast don't want to be replaced and end up being brought in chains before the victor and decide that rebellion against the motherland is the order of the day.Unlikely OTL the south american revolutions happened when Spain was occupied, unless you replicate a similar event I dont think it will or could happen.
