What it says on the tin:
Assume either that Teddy Roosevelt runs (and wins) in 1908, or that he wins his bid on 1912. Either way, the point is that he’ll spend more than 8 years as President. What do you think the odds are that an analogue to the 22nd amendment would be passed earlier?

What if he wins in ‘08, and still runs in 1912? Even if he doesn’t win, would that be enough to build support?

Or what if he does this, no amendment is passed, and FDR still is pres from 1933-1941. If FDR starts making noises about running for a third term, after his cousin has had three (or more!), how much does that change the politics of the OTL amendment, after two relatives both successfully ran roughshod over precedent?

Or would the amendment just say ‘no more Roosevelts’ instead? (I kid)
