earlier introduction of Christainity in Japan

How much earlier? And by whom? The arrival of Orthodox missionaries from Russia will have a radically different effect to the arrival of Calvinist missionaries from the Netherlands or Nestorian missionaries from Central Asia.
 
The thing is christianity must arrive in Japan before Islam did ;)

2. IOTL Christianity might actually have arrived in Japan before Islam even existed; a number of researchers speculate that the first Nestorian Christians arrived in Japan as early as the 5th century, and there's even a historian who claims that the Khoryuji Temple in Kyoto (built in 603) was originally a Christian building that was later converted into a Buddhist temple.

1) You're not feeling okay if you take my previous remark seriously ;), and 2) yes that's a news to me.
 
Japan getting Chrisitianity (and actually christianizing) before Buddhism might be interesting, although hard to pull off...
