Earlier digital revolution

People would be ilegally downloading early pop music. I'd like to see the equivalent of John Lennon arguing against P2P as it hurts his profits, in the '60s
"Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can"

(But pay for my records!)
Of course the question is how the digital revolution starts 30 years before and how are this ATL 1960.
I guess some issues are: how it affects the communist regimes?
how it affects counterculture: soldiers writing blogs from some ATL version of Vietnam, Ché Guevara's blog, Third world's opinon on the "new man" being created by the Cuban revolution, while being denied access to Internet, and many, many more I'm not thinking at this time
The effect on porn, both censorship and industry, when the Internet allows it to flow freely, but at the same time also allows user created content
The way the digital revolution can be used both by and against dictatorships around the world
And many more I guess, but my lunch is waiting :D
