Earlier Danish membership of EEC

In 1960 when UKs membership application was vetoed by de Gaulle, Denmark and Norway also applied to EEC, de Gaulle didn't veto Danish membership and even said to the Danish premierminister and to the press, that he would support Danish membership, in the end Denmark choose not to join without UK, which was Denmarks biggest trading partner at the time (Trough Germany was fast overtaking them at the time). WI Denmark choose to become a member.

Danish trade with the EEC prolifirates throughout the sixties, far more than OTL.

I suspect the UK Government is even more pissed off than they were at the rejection of OTL, what with other member states being allowed in. This may turn Britain towards America even more than was the case in reality.
