E-DAC: The Extensive Dynastic Acronym Classification System

Yesterday, I came across the Wikipedia article about Ioannes Doukas Angelos Palaiologos Raoul Laskaris Tornikios Philanthropenos Asen, a young man who died around 1449 in the Morea. That ungodly-long name inspired me to create the E-DAC, a way to keep names of a reasonable length through use of contractions.

Example:

Ioannes Doukas Angelos Palaiologos Raoul Laskaris Tornikios Philanthropenos Asen

OR

Ioannes D.A.P.R.L.T.Ph. Asen

Example 2:

Theodore Komnenos Doukas Palaiologos Synadeos

OR

Theodore K.D.P. Synadeos

Is this just for Byzantium or for other dynasties?

As far as Rome is concerned for example I find that using coin abbreviations is sufficient

In the current version (E-DAC 1.1) is only for post-Macedonian Eastern Roman nobles. I'm open to working with anyone who has knowledge of other countries' aristocracy, but as for now E-DAC 1.2 is just going to add more details (adoptions, bastards, female line, etc.).
