Dutch Africa ?

What if the Dutch trade fort at the Delagoa Bay (Maputo) was not abandonned in 1724 or that the land pruchase of 1698 with the Xhosa was executed.
What if the Netherlands could keep the Cape Colony after 1814
What if the Dutc Gold coast trading forts did evolve in succesful trading and plantation colonies in the 19th century.

Suppose all this fortunate events happend what would the out come of a Berlin conference be?

Probably a Dutch speaking South Africa with a high proportion of Germans who learn Dutch with it's border at the Save River and then a line to the Cunene River. Then a belt across Africa that is Portuguese. The British would have to have something around the Cape of Good Hope, so the British would take over Madagascar and settle it with a combination of Brits and Indians. Then, somewhat later, the Brits would focus their attentions on the Zanj region of East Africa and the Horn of Africa including Ethiopia (as well as Yemen) with a great deal of British settlement since there is plenty of highlands that Europeans can settle comfortably. And perhaps a belt across Africa to Nigeria. with a railroad through the savannah and sahel north of the Congo rainforest between them.
