I've been fairly comfortable just reading discussions on this forum for all the scenarios I could think of, but one scenario that I haven't found is a reconquest of the Indian subcontinent by the Dravidians similar to the Europeans in Iberia. I was inspired by the depiction of the early caste system initiated by the newly settled Aryans Gore Vidal's Creation in which race and culture was speculated as the inspiration for the caste system today, with Dravidians living in non-urban areas and in the lowest social positions with as little intermixing as possible, although it did occur. This sounds similar to modern day Bolivia or China under Mongolian or Manchurian rule, and Persia under the the Ilkhanate. So what if the Aryans are overthrown? Would we see the disappearance of the language and customs of the occupiers except for some small traces like in China and Persia?

When would be the best time for this to occur? My understanding of Indian history is very limited, but could this occur instead of the Mughal Empire?
