Hey, I'm just curious as to when the Drakensburg(e(n)) mountains got their name. Does anyone know?
Is that an era? (I know what the name means.)"the Dragon's Back" according to NOVA programs. (so, in answer, the name came from its appearance)

Ok, so I will probably need a different name for them then.Well obviously when Dutch/Boers came in that area. So somewhere after 1650s...
Probably after 1800.
I had long been suspicious. . .It was named by interdimensional, time-travelling tourists from some sort of crazy, evil supersoldier world. Apparently they named them a name that bore resemblance to their people before leaving.
