While reading the Breaking News thread in the Alternate History After 1900 forum, I was reminded of this children's book by Jackie French, called Hitler's Daughter. The title is exactly what it says on the tin. Whenever I read it I'm struck by how Jackie French puts across the question of "What does/should a person do if someone they know is doing unspeakably horrible things?"
It's basically a story about Hitler's secret daughter within a story about modern-day school kids hearing this story from their friend. And it's very good. Has anyone else here read it?
