Dominium maris baltici, Gustavus Adolphus Survives and wins 30 Years war

Gustavus Survives the battle of Lutzen what happens next does Sweden manage to take over the HRE and Gustavus becomes the Holy Roman Emperor as he wished to do, does he become to the controller of the Baltic

Gustav did not want to become Holy Roman Emperor, as that title was way too catholic at the time. More likely, he'd create a new title, such as "Protector of Germany".
Aside from that, all you said is plausible, concerning the time frame upon which we can speculate.

If he doesn’t die at Lützen then I could see him still dying during the war. He was hotheaded at times, managed to get wounded on more than one occasion, and, IIRC, was not able to wear plate armor due to a previous injury that occurred in an earlier campaign. His aggressive tendencies, which made him stand out tactically, would still pose an issue on the field of battle.

However, having Gustav II Adolf survive beyond Lützen would make things interesting down the road.

((OOC: I’m currently at work and don’t have access to my books or other research. Once I am at home, I might be able to expand further.))

yea i read something along those lines but i could see him doing that if he wasn't so aggressive in his battles maybe a split between the two with northern germany being protected by Adolphus and the southern area being controlled by the habsburgs
